We use hand mixers all the time, and it’s incredibly important to me that they perform and are durable.
We tested the Cuisinart EvolutionX Cordless hand mixer and if you have been considering investing in one, read on to find out if it is worth your money.
This model offers five speeds and of course, it’s cordless. The battery is designed to run for twenty minutes on each full charge.
Charge time is about two hours. It comes with a charging cord and it has a battery power indicator light.
It boasts an ergonomically designed handle that is appropriate for both righties and lefties. And it offers single button operation.
It is made of stainless steel and is ABS BPA free. And it weighs in at about 2.5 lbs.
Who Is It For
This is for people who want the best cordless hand mixer around. It offers excellent power for a cord free mixer which makes it great for those who have limited power outlets or just get annoyed working around a mixer cord. (I’ve spilled more than one mixing bowl by catching it on my mixer cord)
What We Love About It
I am extremely happy with this product. It is durable and is a great mixer for all types of tasks. It can whip up homemade cream and mix together cookie dough with relative ease.
I like the fact that it is cordless and can complete jobs where nothing else would be suitable. It has a soft grip handle that is comfortable, and the beaters are replaceable.
What Could Be Improved
The battery life. When running on high the battery does not last the full twenty minutes. While this does not become an issue in most situations, if you have a lot of baking to do you can run out of juice and stop your progress in order to charge the battery. This can be a big bummer as the charge time is two hours. But if you are only preparing a single batch recipe at a time, the battery should be more than sufficient.
How It Performed In Our Tests
The cordless feature is great and the power is fantastic.
I ran the mixer on high for about five minutes and it worked as well as any other corded mixer I have ever used.
The beaters are removable and easy to clean. This means less time scrubbing after your mixing job is done.
It’s easy to hold, the charge lasts long enough for most people’s needs, and it’s got a pretty decent look to it.
How Does It Look In The Kitchen
The body design is boxy and not what you usually get with a hand mixer. It is fairly minimal in it’s design making it a good choice for most kitchens.
Is It Worth The Money
If you are looking for a solid performing cordless hand mixer then yes this model is worth the money. If being cord free is not a priority for you, then you can get similar performance for less money.
It’s a hand mixer, and it gets the job done. It works well and is made of quality materials. I have yet to have any issues. It performs well and has not failed me yet which is what you want in any kitchen appliance. And if losing the cord is what you are looking to do, this is one of the best models to do it with.
