Edible Cookie Dough Without Sugar

bowl of sugar free cookie dough

Ridiculously delicious no sugar added edible cookie! Perfect for a snack or to be used as a dip. Easy and quick recipe.

Unlike most no sugar cookie dough recipes, this one doesn’t use stevia. After trying both varieties out multiple times, I can absolutely say this is the best version out there in my opinion.

Instead of stevia we will sweeten our edible cookie dough with fresh fruit. Not only is it delicious it offers more nutrients, and fruit just goes so well with it.

If you are cutting extra sugar out of your diet it’s a challenge coming up with tasty treats but that doesn’t mean you have to go without! This recipe is absolutely perfect for snacking or an on the go treat.

And there’s been a couple times where I forgot to grab sugar at the store but needed my cookie dough fix. This recipe is just the ticket for conquering that craving.

This recipe tastes just like the real thing (or pretty darn close) so the lack of sugar really blows my mind!

Prep time is only about five minutes once your dates have soaked, and then it just needs to be chilled for around a half hour (longer isn’t bad though).

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbs. Oats (can sub in almond flour or coconut flour)
  • 15 oz. Chickpeas (garbanzo beans)
  • 1/8 Tbs. Baking Soda
  • 1/4 Almond Butter (can sub with your favorite nut butter)
  • 1 Tbs. Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1 1/4 Cup Dates (pitted)
  • Dash of Salt
  • Milk to consistency
  • 1/3 Cup Sugar Free Chocolate Chips
  • 1/2 Cup Water

Add your pitted dates to a bowl and pour water over them and let them sit for about eight or nine hours.

Except for chocolate chips, add all your ingredients (including dates and water) to your food processor and blend until creamy.

Transfer cookie dough to a bowl and stir in your chocolate chips. Chill in your refrigerator for at least a half an hour before serving.
