How to Bake Homemade Cinnamon Peanut Butter Cookies from Scratch

Even though you’ll be making these cookies from scratch, it’s going to be super quick and easy.
Prep time is just about five or so minutes and bake time comes in around ten minutes. Yes, it’s really that quick!
By adding cinnamon to our peanut butter cookie base, we will produce an absolutely wonderful flavor combination.
On top of all that, the only equipment you need is a large mixing bowl, a small mixing bowl, and a cookie sheet.
You can mix your cookie dough by hand or with a hand mixer, the choice is yours. As far as keeping your cookies from sticking to the pan, you can use parchment paper or simply grease your pan.
Ok, now let’s get to the good part!
Ingredients for Peanut Butter and Cinnamon Cookies

With just a handful of common baking ingredients, you can make yourself a batch of super flavorful cookies.
In fact, you may already have everything you need on hand.
Peanut Butter Cookies Ingredient List
- All-Purpose Flour
- Ground Cinnamon
- Salt
- Butter (softened)
- Brown Sugar (packed)
- Granulated Sugar
- Creamy Peanut Butter
- Vanilla Extract
- Eggs
Peanut Butter: I’ve been asked if you can make these cookies with chunky peanut butter, and while I’ve never tried it you should be fine going with chunky. I personally love a soft peanut butter cookie without the crunch, so I stick with creamy peanut butter.

Ground Cinnamon: While not overboard, four tablespoons of ground cinnamon will give your cookies a pronounced cinnamon flavor. It doesn’t overpower the other flavors, but you can use half as much cinnamon for a more peanut butter flavored cookie.

All-Purpose Flour: I always make this particular recipe with all-purpose flour. If you want to use a gluten free alternative, you can, but it will likely lead to a flatter and crunchier cookie.
