If you’ve checked out any of my other crust recipes, you’ll notice this one calls for a few more ingredients. Don’t let that fool you, this is a super quick and easy recipe to make.

Ingredients List

  • All-Purpose Flour
  • Shortening
  • Egg
  • Salt
  • Vinegar
  • Cold Water

Flour: Go with all-purpose flour. It produces the best texture. If your flour is lumpy, sift it before mixing it in to your other ingredients.

Shortening: You’re going to love the flavor and texture shortening produces. You can use regular or butter flavored shortening. They both produce great results.

Vinegar: This is the secret ingredient to the texture of this crust. The acidity also heightens the other flavors. Go with white distilled vinegar, and don’t skip it!
