Ingredients for Pineapple Cream Cheese Frosting from Scratch

I think you’re going to love how easy this frosting is to make. And after you taste it, you’re not likely to use a premade frosting ever again.
If you do want to make your frosting ahead of time, make sure to store in an airtight container and keep in your refrigerator until you’re ready to use it.
Ingredients List
- Cream Cheese (block style)
- Crushed Pineapple (canned in juice, juice reserved)
- Powdered Sugar
- Butter (softened)
- Vanilla Extract
Pineapple: Make sure to use canned, crushed pineapple in juice. Crushed will give you the right texture and some of the juice will be used in your frosting. That’s going to provide the perfect flavor boost.
Note: When draining your pineapple, make sure to reserve the juce!
Powdered Sugar: While I find the amount of powdered sugar called for to produce the perfect balance of sweetness, you can reduce it by up to half a cup for a less sweet frosting.
