As soon as these spring time lime tea cookies come out of the oven I am transported to the promise of a new beginning.
This tea cookies recipe was my aunt’s go to treat whenever I was having a bad day. I remember one particular time where some girls were being mean to me at school and I stopped by my aunt’s bakers feeling completely deflated.
She whipped together these cookies, poured us a cup of green chamomile tea and we talked until dinner time.
There is just something about these cookies that puts a smile on my face no matter how things in life are going.
I enjoy carrying on the tradition with my own children and talking about life over some tea and cookies.
This recipe is so easy and the cookies are buttery and delicious making them ideal for a get together or even a family dessert.
Prep is quick and you probably already have all the ingredients in your pantry.
