How to Make a No Bake Strawberry Pie using Yogurt and Cream Cheese

This recipe produces one of the best textured pies I’ve ever made! And it’s super quick and easy to prepare.
In fact, it only takes minutes to whip together, and then on to the freezer for a chill. Then serve as is, or topped with fresh strawberries and whipped cream.
The only equipment you need is a mixer, mixing bowl, and a pie pan (not needed if using a premade graham cracker crust).
Use whole fat, strawberry yogurt for your pie. I don’t recommend fruit on the bottom, simple strawberry yogurt works best.

Ingredients

This recipe only needs four simple ingredients, so not only does it taste absolutely fabulous, it’s also super affordable.
The combination of cream cheese, sour cream, and strawberry yogurt produces an amazing texture and just a bit of sugar to sweeten it up!
Ingredients List
- Strawberry Yogurt
- Cream Cheese
- Sour Cream
- Granulated Sugar
- Graham Cracker Crust
- Fresh Strawberries (optional, for topping)
- Whipped Cream (optional, for topping)
Yogurt: Go with whole fat, strawberry yogurt. Greek or plain both work well, though I do prefer the flavor of Greek yogurt. The fat content is important, so I recommend sticking with whole fat if at all possible.
Cream Cheese: Only use brick style cream cheese. The whipped variety will not produce the desired texture. Again, I recommend going with whole fat cream cheese.
Sour Cream: This provides a wonderful hint of tang that pairs so well with our other ingredients. While I still recommend whole fat, lower fat sour cream still works quite well.
Strawberries: When in season, slicing a cup or so of fresh strawberries for the top of our pie creates a great presentation while adding more of that delicious strawberry flavor. Not required, but highly recommended if you have good, fresh strawberries available.
Whipped Cream: What goes together better than strawberries and cream? If adding fresh strawberries to your pie, you have to add a dollop of whipped cream. It’s so incredibly tasty, give it a try!
Crust: I usually go with a premade, 9″ graham cracker pie crust. The flavor pairs perfectly and it speeds up the prep time. But if you want to make your own, here is a great recipe.

Simple Step by Step Recipe Instructions

You’re going to be surprised how great a flavor you get with such a simple recipe. In just a few quick steps, your pie will be on to the freezer chilling.
Because chill time is at least four hours, I like to make my pie the night before serving. But as long as you have four hours before you want to serve your pie, you are good to go.
Step 1: In mixing bowl, blend softened cream cheese, strawberry yogurt, sour cream, and granulated sugar until smooth.
Step 2: Pour filling into graham cracker crust and cover.
Step 3: Chill in freezer for at least 4 hours.
Note: If desired, add fresh strawberries and cream just before serving.
Step 4: Serve and enjoy!
