Recipe Ingredients

This recipe uses simple ingredients, so it’s not only delicious but quite affordable too. These waffles have a crispy outside with a wonderful, old fashioned flavor.
Ingredient List
- All-Purpose Flour
- Granulated Sugar
- Baking Powder
- Almond Milk
- Oil
- Salt
- Eggs
- Vanilla Extract
Flour: All-purpose flour provides the best texture, but you can opt for cake flour if that’s all you have on hand. You can use a 50/50 all-purpose and whole wheat flour mixture as well.
Almond Milk: While almond milk is my preferred replacement for dairy milk when making waffles, you have other options as well. Some other milk alternatives you can use include rice milk, cashew milk, coconut milk, and soy milk. Each of these does impart a different flavor, so go with the one you prefer.
Oil: Canola oil or vegetable oil produce the best results. You can opt for another cooking oil if that’s all you have on hand.
