Nobody likes wasting food so if your brownies were cooked too long you need to know what you can use them for.

The problem with overcooked brownies is they are generally too dry and hard for eating without making some adjustments.

Luckily, there are a number of great ways you can use your overbaked brownies and still enjoy them!

Brownie Crumbs

Overcooked brownies are perfect for turning into brownie crumbs and topping all types of desserts.

Simply put your overbaked brownies in your food processor and pulse until they are about the size of bacon bits.

They are now perfect for topping all types of recipes. Try throwing them on ice cream or yogurt for a delicious and sweet topping.

Put any leftover brownie crumbs into an airtight container and store in the fridge or pantry.

Make Tiramisu

How about a creative and decadent use for those dry brownies? Tiramisu is one of my family’s favorite special desserts and overcooked brownies are a great twist on the traditional tiramisu recipe.

Simply slice your dry brownies into ladyfinger size and use them in place of ladyfingers in your tiramisu recipe.

This is a fun way to use those overcooked brownies and the tiramisu will soften them up for a truly amazing family dessert.

Make Milkshakes

Brownies add a delicious flavor to any milkshake. Simply process your dry and overcooked brownies into your favorite milkshake recipe and enjoy a wonderful treat.

I like adding brownies to vanilla and strawberry milkshakes, but this will work on any of your favorite milkshake combinations.
