The process of being in ketosis varies from person to person because certain people need to eat less than 50 grams of net carbs per day to achieve ketosis. Some individuals on the other hand, need to reduce carbs even more. 

This means that the less carbs in a pint of ice cream, the better. Different brands have varying amounts of carbs in them so you’ll have to carefully read the labels to make sure you are not going over your carb limit for the day.

How Does Ice Cream Become Keto?

Many ice cream brands have also found a way to make their ice cream keto by removing extra sugars and carbs and replacing them with fiber instead. They also use sugar alternatives to sweeten their products, which in turn doesn’t affect your diet.

Many people will find that keto ice cream is less creamy than regular ice cream. This is because of the fact that keto ice cream has to contain less milk or none at all to be considered keto. Instead of milk, water would be used as a substitute.

In place of regular milk, a protein milk concentrate is used in the ice cream instead, helping it keep its creamy texture.
