Pancakes With Self Rising Flour

Equipment

  • 1 Cast Iron Pan, Frying Pan, or Electric Griddle
  • 1 Medium Mixing Bowl

Ingredients
  

  • Cups Self Rising Flour
  • 2 Cups Milk
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 1 Tbs Granulated Sugar optional

Instructions
 

  • In your medium mixing bowl, add your eggs and milk. Whisk until well combined
  • Slowly add your self rising flour and granulated sugar while stirring. Continue to stir until well combined
  • Note: If using add ins, stir them in now
  • Bring skillet to medium heat. If using an electric griddle, set at 375 degrees
  • Grease your cooking surface with butter or cooking oil
  • Once heating surfaced comes to temperature, add approximately 1/3 cup of batter per pancake
  • Flip pancakes when tiny bubbles form on entire top of pancake. This generally takes 1-2 minutes
  • Pancakes are done when both sides are golden brown. Remove pancakes from pan
  • Repeat until all pancake batter has been cooked
  • Serve immediately with desired toppings
